We’re hiring an experienced Project Manager to join a fast-growing bespoke software development agency based in Shropshire, delivering high-impact systems for ambitious businesses. This is not a traditional admin-heavy project management role. It’s a strategic delivery position for someone who understands software development, thrives in fast-moving environments, and can confidently lead clients, developers, priorities, scope, and delivery outcomes from start to finish. You’ll act as the key link between clients and engineering teams, driving delivery, solving problems, managing change, and ensuring projects stay commercially aligned while delivering exceptional results.
The Role
- Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end bespoke software projects
- Own delivery timelines, priorities, and project outcomes
- Remove blockers and maintain project momentum
- Ensure developers have clear requirements and context
- Client Management
- Act as the primary client contact throughout delivery
- Lead project meetings, planning, and progress reviews
- Translate technical discussions into commercial value
- Build strong, trusted client relationships
- Scope & Commercial Oversight
- Manage project scope, budgets, and change requests
- Assess impact on timelines, priorities, and costs

- A starting salary from £45,000 per annum on a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent contract.
- Hybrid and flexible working (min. 2 days in Head Office). Usual office hours are 9am until 5pm Monday-Friday but this can be flexible. Full home-working IT system is provided.
