Lead the delivery of complex software projects that genuinely transform businesses. We’re hiring an experienced Project Manager to join a fast-growing bespoke software development agency based in Shropshire, delivering high-impact systems for ambitious businesses. This is not a traditional admin-heavy project management role. It’s a strategic delivery position for someone who understands software development, thrives in fast-moving environments, and can confidently lead clients, developers, priorities, scope, and delivery outcomes from start to finish. You’ll act as the key link between clients and engineering teams, driving delivery, solving problems, managing change, and ensuring projects stay commercially aligned while delivering exceptional results.

The Role

  • Delivery Leadership
    • Lead end-to-end bespoke software projects
    • Own delivery timelines, priorities, and project outcomes
    • Remove blockers and maintain project momentum
    • Ensure developers have clear requirements and context
  • Client Management
    • Act as the primary client contact throughout delivery
    • Lead project meetings, planning, and progress reviews
    • Translate technical discussions into commercial value
    • Build strong, trusted client relationships
  • Scope & Commercial Oversight
    • Manage project scope, budgets, and change requests
    • Assess impact on timelines, priorities, and costs
    • Keep projects commercially aligned and delivery-focused

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years managing software delivery or technical projects
  • Strong experience working with developers and technical teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing scope and budgets
  • Calm, organised, and solutions-focused under pressure

Why This Role?

You’ll join a talented development team and play a central role in delivering bespoke technology solutions that solve real business challenges.

  • A starting salary from £45,000 per annum on a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent contract.
  • Hybrid and flexible working (min. 2 days in Head Office). Usual office hours are 9am until 5pm Monday-Friday but this can be flexible. Full home-working IT system is provided.
  • Free onsite parking and regular onsite buses, the office is also close to Telford Central Train Station.
  • Disabled access and facilities.
  • Onsite café and other amenities. Free refreshments within the office.
  • Regular team events and socials.
  • Long service incentives.
  • Excellent training and development opportunities.
  • Be part of a growing, forward-thinking tech business.
  • Work with a mix of innovative SMEs and international clients.
  • Shape a role with real influence and visibility.
  • Join a company that values both technology and human connection.
  • Please note there is regularly a dog in the office.

We’re looking for someone ambitious, commercially minded, and passionate about leading successful software delivery. Apply with your CV plus anything that helps showcase who you are, project examples, portfolios, or a compelling cover letter.
