Role:Work Placement Assessor

Hours:36.25

Salary:£27,945-£30,342

Pension:21.8%(£6,092-£6,614 per year)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Work Placement Assessor?to join the Early Years team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

TheRole

  • Assess learners in the workplace to support completion of their main qualification, including marking
  • Support learners to source placements and liaise with employers.?
  • Complete: risk assessments, health& safety paperwork and online systems.
  • Ensure employers are suitable for our learners placements.
  • Support learners to complete DBS check
  • Support and prepare learners to successfully complete their placements.
  • To take part in the quality assurance, Internal quality assurance process.?
  • To assess the learners on placement and work with the awarding body including moderation.

About you:

If you are passionate about your specialist subject and sharing your knowledge, skills and experience and have an enthusiasm for supporting learners then there has never been a better time to join us.

Candidates must have a minimum L3 Childcare or Early years qualification, Assessor qualification, GCSE 4+/FS L2 in maths and English. Desirable criteria include experience of supporting learners find work placements, assessing in the workplace, completing DBS checks and placement checks. Candidate will need to have a driving licence and car, to perform visits.
