Full Time (37 hours per week)

Join our team at Gloucester City Homes (GCH) and help us deliver a first-class repairs and maintenance service to our customers. We’re looking for a proactive and organised Repairs & Scheduling Officer to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of our Property Care Services.

About the role

As a vital member of the Repairs & Scheduling team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and monitoring repair work orders. Your focus will be on ensuring that trades staff and contractors are scheduled efficiently to meet performance targets and deliver high-quality service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch repair technicians based on availability, location, and skill set.
  • Monitor job progress and proactively adjust schedules to accommodate emergencies or delays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by managing appointments, keeping residents informed, and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Support performance reporting and rota planning to optimize team efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate system updates across CRM and Total Mobile platforms.
  • Track resource usage and ensure materials are allocated effectively.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in repairs, maintenance, or social housing environments.
  • Experience using scheduling or CRM systems (Total Mobile experience is a plus).
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly with Word, Excel, and scheduling systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail.

A Business Administration qualification (NVQ or equivalent) would be beneficial.
