Our Manor Gardens housing has 23 existing supported housing bungalows, and we are underway in developing a further scheme of 46 accessible apartments and family homes, 44 at Manor Gardens and two new bungalows at the adjacent Newstead Road.
Here at Stonewater, we are seeking a Community Housing & Wellbeing Coordinator to work directly with customers, stakeholders and communities to create a vibrant community where customers are engaged and involved with developing services that support them.
You’ll provide general building management and the day-to-day delivery of localised service contracts for Manor Gardens, ensuring services are customer and outcome focused and enable individuals to both sustain their lease/tenancy and remain independent in their own home. You’ll carry out well-being checks and respond to emerging changes in circumstances, identify and manage risk including safeguarding taking accountability for ensuring that appropriate actions are taken, and controls are in place to manage the risk.
Delivering excellent customer service, including response and resolution of customer feedback and complaints, you’ll initiate tenancy terminations, complete strengths-based assessments and risk assessments, assessment visits for prospective customer, sign-ups and customer induction for all new customers; and support the promotion of vacant dwellings across schemes. Developing relationships with partner agencies that provide well-being opportunities, you will support customers to produce and access a programme of well-being and social initiatives, onsite and virtually, that helps support and give a voice to issues affecting older customers such as improved well-being, reduction in loneliness and dementia awareness.

Have experience of working within the health or social care sector or within a housing environment.
Be committed to co-production and sees values in services designed and delivered with customers.
Be computer literate with good literacy and numeracy skills, able to support the monitoring of budgets/service charges.
Be able to achieve exceptional performance and customer service with minimal supervision.
A motivated and committed self-starter with strong organisational skills, with a passion to deliver innovative services.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate information clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and a wide range of contractors, external agencies etc.
Thinks practically and logically and produces high quality work, overcoming problems/issues to meet deadlines.
Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
