We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Technical Account Manager to join a growing organisation specialising in the manufacture and distribution of Overhead Line Equipment (OLE). This is a home-based role offering the opportunity to play a key part in developing and managing strategic relationships across the UK rail sector.
You will act as the primary point of contact for key clients, combining strong technical understanding with relationship management and business development skills to drive growth and deliver exceptional service. Our client is a recognised supplier of Overhead Line Equipment (OLE), supporting rail infrastructure projects across the UK. They combine product manufacturing and distribution with in-house technical expertise, offering clients a fully integrated service. From early-stage tender input and design through to delivery and project close-out, their team works closely with customers to help ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and in line with required standards.
- Develop and manage key accounts within the rail and OLE sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and end clients
- Provide technical support and guidance on OLE products and solutions
- Support tender submissions and project specifications
- Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution
- Stay up to date with industry developments, standards, and upcoming projects
Proven experience in a Technical Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Material Manager or similar within the rail sector. Established network and contacts within the UK rail industry. Commercial awareness with a track record of winning and growing accounts. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a home-based environment. Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
