We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business supplying high-quality structural components into reputable infrastructure customers. Their work is built to last, inspected to the highest standards, and trusted across the UK. You'll be joining a highly skilled, experienced team where quality comes first, and jobs aren't rushed out of the door.

The Role

As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll be working from detailed engineering drawings to produce structural components to ISO 9606-1 & 9606-2 standards. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Welding using MAG 135 and MIG 131 processes to approved WPS
  • Fabricating components using cutting, bending, and assembly equipment
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols
  • Inspecting your own work using callipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools
  • Keeping equipment well-maintained and your workspace safe and tidy
  • Working to strict health & safety standards with the right PPE in place

This is hands-on, skilled work ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in getting it right first time.

What We're Looking For

  • Time-served or qualified Welder/Fabricator
  • Strong experience with MAG 135 / MIG 131
  • Confident reading engineering drawings
  • Background in a fabrication workshop or industrial environment
  • Coded welding experience is a strong advantage
  • A quality-focused mindset and strong attention to detail

Typically, candidates will have 2-5 years experience, but attitude and skill matter just as much as years on the tools.
