Are you an experienced Engineering leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for solving problems at their root? We are working with a fast-paced FMCG business seeking a forward-thinking Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive sustainable operational excellence. This is a role for someone who doesn’t just fix issues as they arise but takes a step back to understand why they happen and builds long-term solutions that prevent them from returning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Take a strategic approach to engineering challenges, using data and insight to identify trends and prioritise improvements.
  • Own and drive root cause analysis across site issues, ensuring robust, long-term corrective actions are implemented.
  • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency, and overall equipment performance.
  • Optimise planned preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
  • Support and lead change initiatives that strengthen operational capability and future-proof the site.
