We’re recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established business in Clayton West, Huddersfield. This isn’t a warehouse where it’s simply about shifting boxes from A to B. Accuracy really matters here.

You’ll be working as part of a busy warehouse team, making sure products are picked correctly, deliveries are received and checked properly, stock is exactly where it should be and every movement is accurately recorded on the system. We’re looking for someone who takes a bit of pride in doing things properly. Someone organised, reliable and comfortable following processes, but who will also speak up when they spot a better way of doing something.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
  • Receiving deliveries and checking quantities and product condition
  • Putting stock away into the correct warehouse locations
  • Helping to load and unload vehicles safely
  • Supporting cycle counts and stock checks
  • Completing warehouse paperwork and system transactions accurately

You’ll ideally already have experience working within a warehouse environment and be comfortable using warehouse or stock-management systems. Although we’re equally interested in people who are confident with systems and happy to learn.

More importantly, you’ll be someone people can rely on. You’ll have good attention to detail, work well both independently and as part of a team, and be happy working in an environment where high standards and continuous improvement genuinely matter.

What’s on offer:

  • £26,000–£27,000 salary
  • Monday to Friday, 8.00am–4.30pm with an early finish on Fridays
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Life assurance at 4x salary
