process . Someone who walks onto a production floor and naturally asks: Why are we doing it this way? Where are the bottlenecks? What can we standardise? How can we improve planning, reduce waste and make the operation run better? Ideally, youll come from a
timber, joinery, furniture, woodworking or similar manufacturing background , where you understand that quality and craftsmanship cant be sacrificed simply to chase output. And neither can the people. This isnt about arriving with a clipboard and changing everything overnight. Its about understanding the operation, earning the respect of the team and putting the right processes and measures in place to help everyone perform better. Youll take responsibility for production planning and scheduling, OTIF delivery, capacity, quality, cost and efficiency, while continually reviewing how the manufacturing operation can improve and scale. Youll also play a key part in developing the team, identifying training needs and building a skilled, loyal manufacturing culture. Were looking for someone who is commercially minded, process driven and comfortable challenging the way things have always been done
