As Bar Supervisor, you'll support the management team in overseeing the daily operation of the bar, ensuring drinks are prepared consistently, service runs efficiently and guests receive exceptional hospitality. - Lead the bar team during service, ensuring efficient and professional operations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a warm and engaging atmosphere.
- Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wines, beers and spirits to the highest standard.
- Support the training and development of Bartenders and Barbacks.
- Monitor drink quality, consistency and presentation.
- Oversee opening and closing bar procedures.
- Assist with ordering, stock control and inventory management.
- Monitor stock rotation and minimise wastage.
- Ensure all bar equipment is maintained and operating correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout all bar areas.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible alcohol service.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with Floor Managers and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
- Assist with menu launches, promotional events and private functions.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new bar team members.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and POS procedures.
- Promote a positive and supportive team culture.
You’ll have:
- Previous supervisory experience within a premium bar, restaurant or hospitality venue.
- Excellent cocktail, wine and spirits knowledge.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
