THE COMPANY We are working alongside Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services (one-third of Aberdeen based PBS by Ponticelli).
JOB PURPOSE Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial control of assigned project/s ensuring adherence to budget and preparing cost estimates by analysing proposals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with overseeing project costs throughout all phases of a project
- Prepare cost estimates by analysing proposals
- Create invoice documents and cost reports for both clients and internally for distribution
- Assist with reviewing contracts and purchase orders from clients to understand all aspects and dynamics affecting the project
- Assist with the confirmation, status and plan for job packages, hours and any other costs relating to the project
- Identify labour, material and time requirements and computing costs
- Assist with Month End closing
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the cost control function and provision of robust financial reporting.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Previous experience working in a cost control role, ideally supporting a large project.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise and plan work tasks accordingly to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office.
