JOB PURPOSE
- FP&A Operational Lead for the Netherlands Offshore division. Based out of the UK office in Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
- Reporting into the Finance Director and working closely with the Senior FP&A (both based in the Grimsby office).
- The role blends FP&A and operational finance with management accounts and balance sheet control.
- Four direct reports based in the Netherlands (NL).
- 4 days in Grimsby office, 1 day working from home.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and maintenance of weekly financial models to forecast future monthly financial performance.
- Production of short term and longer term rolling forecasts working closely with project management in the NL.
- Support the administrative team in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Driving working capital management through accurate and timely invoicing and collection of debt.
- Production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in association with the NL GL team. Associated month, quarter end and annual reporting.
- Manage the annual budgeting process, aligning closely with operations.
- Reporting on variances to budget and forecast, providing insights and identifying opportunities.
- Collaborate with project heads and senior management to understand their financial needs and provide relevant insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
- Be the key contact for the annual audit.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, offering financial expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Sound experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in forecasting.
- Experience in managing people.
- IT literate including ERP Systems, Excel & Power BI.
- Proactive and confident to drive improvements.
- Some travel to and within the NL will be expected in the role.
