We’re looking for a Key Partner Manager to join our core partnerships team, taking ownership of a portfolio of strategically important partners across established categories including electricals, home & garden, subscriptions and gifting.
In this role, you’ll work closely with some of the UK’s most recognisable brands, acting as a trusted commercial advisor and internal advocate. Using data, insight and strong commercial judgement, you’ll shape long-term partner strategies that drive sustainable growth, retention and meaningful value for our members.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage relationships with a portfolio of existing strategic partners within the electricals, home & garden, subscriptions and gifting categories, to deliver revenue growth, retention and long-term value.
- Develop and execute strategies that support mutual growth through increased discounts, improved attribution, enhanced commercial agreements, retail media and data-informed learnings and optimisation plans.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics and consumer trends to identify opportunities, guide strategic growth, and demonstrate the value of partnering with Blue Light Card.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, CRM and Product to deliver joined-up partner strategies.
- Support the Senior Partner Manager with the prospecting and on-boarding of new partners as required to deliver the category strategy.
- Lead senior-level commercial negotiations across commission, retail media and strategy clearly articulating value exchange and ensuring sustainable, member-first outcomes.
- Own forecasting, performance reporting and sales pipeline management for strategic partners, ensuring targets for revenue, acquisition and conversion are met.
- Act as a senior point of contact within the partner team, supporting and mentoring Partner Managers where appropriate.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in strategic account or partnership management, with a proven track record of owning senior, high-value partner relationships and delivering sustainable commercial growth.
- Commercially astute, with confidence leading senior-level negotiations across commission, retail media and wider partnership strategy, clearly articulating value exchange.
- Solid omnichannel retail experience, working closely with online and in-store teams to shape compelling, member-first propositions across digital and physical environments.
- Highly data-literate, comfortable using performance metrics, consumer insights and forecasting to inform strategy, identify opportunities and influence decision-making.
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset, able to balance day-to-day partner delivery with long-term planning in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- A collaborative and credible stakeholder partner, able to work cross-functionally and support the development of more junior team members where appropriate.
- Experience in affiliate partnerships would be desirable but is not essential.
