As Merchandising Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the day‑to‑day member experience across Blue Light Card’s app and website. Reporting into the Head of Content Marketing, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimising the flow of deals, offers and priority content to ensure members see the most relevant, valuable and engaging content at the right time. This role owns the homepage experience across both app and web, balancing commercial priorities with member value. Alongside deal‑based merchandising, you’ll also champion non‑deal initiatives such as Member Days, Shopping Cards, Cinema, Money & Finance content and Blue Light Tickets. It’s a role that combines strong organisation, commercial thinking and data‑led decision making, working closely with teams across partnerships, marketing, content, product and tech.
What You’ll Do
- Lead onsite merchandising to surface thematically relevant, high‑impact deals and content that support commercial goals
- Work closely with partnerships and commercial teams to ensure timely, accurate deal activation aligned to retail media strategy
- Own a clear prioritisation framework that balances high‑value deals with strategic brand and member initiatives
- Develop and deliver a merchandising plan aligned to the marketing calendar, key campaigns and business objectives
- Ensure non‑deal content such as Member Days, Shopping Cards, Cinema, Finance and Blue Light Tickets is effectively integrated and promoted
- Monitor performance using analytics and in‑house reporting, identifying trends and opportunities to improve engagement and conversion
- Test and optimise layouts, content prioritisation and user journeys to enhance the overall member experience
- Act as the voice of the member, using insight and research to inform merchandising decisions
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in merchandising, e‑commerce or digital marketing roles
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with confidence managing multiple streams of activity
- Significant experience working with CMS tools and managing onsite content
- A commercial mindset with experience in deal management and content planning
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance measurement and affiliate reporting
- Confidence working cross‑functionally with marketing, commercial, product and tech teams
- Experience or interest in membership or loyalty‑led businesses
