Blue Light Card. Individually great, together unstoppable.
The Role and the Team Member growth is at the core of what Blue Light Card does. Every day, millions of NHS workers, emergency services personnel, social care professionals, teachers and armed forces members rely on us to help them save money — and our Growth Marketing team is the engine that brings more of those heroes into the community. This is a hands‑on role sitting at the heart of the growth team, where you will work across paid, organic and referral channels to reach and convert more members. You will run experiments, build and optimise campaigns, and use data to understand what is working and what to do next — all in an environment that genuinely values testing, learning and moving quickly.
The role spans a broad mix of channels and disciplines, from paid social and search to SEO, CRO, CRM automation and referral programmes, so it is a strong platform for someone who wants to develop breadth alongside depth and grow with a team that is actively shaping how AI tools are used in growth marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, run and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and emerging channels, with a focus on improving CPA, ROAS and conversion rate.
- Design and run A/B tests and build high‑converting landing pages to improve sign‑up and activation rates.
- Support SEO and AI‑visibility work to grow organic acquisition and strengthen discoverability across search and emerging platforms.
- Help scale the Refer a Friend programme, developing the growth loops that encourage members to bring others into the community.
- Build dashboards and translate campaign, funnel and channel data into clear, actionable insight using tools such as GA4, Tableau and Amplitude.
- Build and maintain CRM automations and workflows that support onboarding, lifecycle and retention journeys.
- Collaborate with teams across CRM, Brand, Social, Content, Product and Partnerships to deliver integrated growth campaigns.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in growth, performance, digital or acquisition marketing, with hands‑on involvement across the full campaign lifecycle.
- Practical experience running or supporting campaigns across paid channels such as Google Ads, Meta or TikTok.
- A strong analytical mindset with confidence turning data into clear recommendations, using tools such as GA4, Tableau or Amplitude.
- Experience building automations and workflows in a CRM platform, ideally HubSpot — this is an essential part of the role.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and a solid understanding of landing page optimisation principles.
- A curious, test‑and‑learn approach and a genuine interest in how AI and emerging digital tools are changing growth marketing.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working at pace in a fast‑moving, ambitious environment.
