The Role and the Team
As a Content Marketing Executive, you’ll play an important role in bringing our content to life for the Blue Light community. Sitting within the Brand & Comms team, you’ll help create engaging, high-quality content that connects with our members and reflects the value of Blue Light Card. This role supports the delivery of our multi-channel content strategy across editorial, email, social and web. You’ll work closely with colleagues across marketing, partnerships, design and product teams to develop content that inspires our members, supports major campaigns and helps tell the stories that matter most to our community. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating compelling content, working collaboratively and using insight to continually improve what we produce.
What You’ll Do
- Support the planning and delivery of a cross-channel content calendar aligned to campaigns, key trading moments and business priorities
- Write, edit and publish engaging content across multiple platforms including blog, email, landing pages, newsletters and social media
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contributors to brief, coordinate and deliver high-quality content
- Support the creation of co-branded B2B and B2B2C content with partners that provides value to both members and brands
- Contribute content for major marketing campaigns such as Member Days, seasonal promotions and Black Friday
- Ensure all content is tailored to the channel it appears on while maintaining a consistent tone of voice and brand identity
- Use data, SEO insights and member feedback to optimise content for discoverability, engagement and relevance
- Monitor performance across channels and bring ideas to improve formats, storytelling and content impact
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in content marketing, copywriting or editorial roles within a consumer-focused environment
- Strong writing and editing skills with a passion for compelling, member-first storytelling
- Experience working across multiple formats including blog, social, email and video content
- Understanding of SEO basics and familiarity with analytics tools to assess content performance
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Confidence collaborating with stakeholders across marketing, partnerships, design and product teams
- Awareness of what makes effective video and social content for brands
