A leading national law firm is seeking a Senior Business Executive to join their Birmingham office. The ideal candidate will be able to make strong relationships with stakeholders, drive client acquisition and identify and execute new business campaigns. The role also involves bid management support, ensuring timely and accurate responses that comply with client and regulatory requirements.
The Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Bid Manager and New Business team across the wider business.
- Identify and qualify new tender opportunities, managing the preparation of proposals and tenders within tight deadlines.
- Create engaging client materials (credentials, case studies, testimonials), in collaboration with the Bid Manager.
- Manage the People Platform pitch precedent bank and gather best practice responses for common questions.
- Track opportunities on tender portals and evaluate bids with the Bid Manager.
- Develop winning strategies and propositions alongside the Bid Manager and fee earners.
- Research clients and prospective clients to support bid strategies.
- Project manage responses to tenders, ensuring compliance and quality control throughout the process.
The Candidate:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, and electronic).
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
- Ability to work under pressure with solid organisation, multi-tasking, and prioritisation skills.
