Blue Legal are partnering with a national law firm who is recruiting a Business Development Manager to join either their Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Birmingham offices. You will support the Financial Services group and will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the group, working closely with the Senior BDM.
Responsibilities
- Develop BD/marketing plans, manage budgets, and build strong relationships with priority and focus clients.
- Deliver thought leadership, PR, events, campaigns, and digital content to raise the firm's profile and engage clients.
- Lead proposals/bids, generate new business leads, manage pipelines, and leverage CRM to drive ROI.
- Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries, clients, and targets to support business growth.
- Collaborate with the team to create and promote new legal and near-legal services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, working seamlessly with colleagues across UK offices and international partners.
Qualifications
- Graduate (or equivalent) with business development/marketing experience in professional services; CIM qualification and financial services knowledge desirable.
- Strong organisational, time management, and project delivery skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build credibility with senior stakeholders and present ideas clearly.
- Commercially aware, proactive, resilient, and quick to learn, with a positive outlook and familiarity with marketing technologies.
