Blue Legal are currently partnered with a leading UK-headquartered law firm who are searching for a BD & Events Assistant to support the Business Development & Marketing team in London.

As a BD & Events Assistant, you will provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Business Development & Events team, helping to deliver a range of internal and external events and supporting wider BD and marketing activity.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a law firm or professional services environment, with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build effective relationships with lawyers, clients and external suppliers.
The Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Business Development & Events Team, including scheduling meetings, managing the events calendar and monitoring the team mailbox across the London and US offices.
- Assist with venue and supplier research, including hotels, restaurants, caterers, florists, photographers and other event suppliers.
- Support the planning and delivery of events, including RSVP management, guest lists, name badges, event materials and shipping logistics.
- Maintain, organise and order Events Team supplies, ensuring all materials are available when required.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve Events Team processes, systems and technology, helping to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Coordinate internal meetings with limited supervision, arranging appropriate meeting rooms, visitor access, video conferencing, dial-in facilities and other logistical requirements.
- Build strong relationships with lawyers, internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers and external contacts to ensure events and meetings are delivered to a high professional standard.
The Candidate
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience within a law firm or professional services environment, ideally in a Business Development, Events, Marketing or similar support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
