Blue Legal are partnering with a dynamic international law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Proposals and Pursuits Executive to join their London office. The role involves supporting one of the firm’s global industry groups, to drive its business development and marketing efforts through pitching and proposals. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the business development professionals supporting the central proposals and pursuits team.
The Responsibilities:
- Project managing and delivering on some end-to-end RFP opportunities, ensuring the firm’s best practice processes are followed throughout.
- Assisting in identifying winning strategies and drafting persuasive key sales messages that seek to differentiate what the firm has to offer.
- Co-ordinating and managing inputs from a variety of stakeholders.
- Drafting, editing, formatting and producing RFP response documents utilising both standard content text tailored as appropriate to the opportunity, whilst also drafting some content from scratch (for example executive summaries).
- Supporting partners/lawyers in preparation for client presentations.
- Preparing client reports as part of the client engagement process.
- Ensuring wherever possible that post proposal reviews are undertaken and lessons learnt.
- Creating proposal-related reports.
The Candidate:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and willingness to approach senior partners and lawyers with new concepts and ideas.
- Proposals experience within a professional services environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, grammar and proof-reading skills.
- Strong IT literacy.
- The ability to work calmly under pressure, juggling multiple deadlines and managing the expectations of demanding internal clients.
