A top-tier global law firm is searching for a Senior PR Specialist to join and take lead on the PR strategy for one of the firm\’s key groups. There is a particular focus on high-profile sectors such as Technology, ESG and AI, and Innovation. You will lead media outreach efforts to protect and enhance the firm\’s reputation, manage communication for significant deals and support strategic marketing and BD campaigns. This is a great opportunity for candidates with in-house or agency legal experience.The Responsibilities:Develop and implement proactive media outreach plans.Collaborate with wider PR team to manage media relations for key sectors.Oversee deal announcements, lateral hires, and reactive communications to protect and enhance the firm\’s external reputation.Collaborate with the global communications and thought leadership teams to create newsworthy content that aligns with the firm\’s strategic business development goals.Assist in planning and executing crisis communication strategies, to manage and mitigate reputational risks.Prepare and brief the firm\’s lawyers for media interviews, providing ongoing training to enhance their effectiveness in media engagements.Support the firm\’s social media presence by crafting engaging and informative content that reflects the firm\’s strategic priorities and enhances its reputation.Be an advocate for PR best practices, defending the firm\’s reputation and manage corporate communications, including issues and crisis management.The Candidate:Proven track record in a busy press office environment, preferably within professional services or a major firm and strong relationships with legal and business press.Success in leading impactful PR programs and familiar with internal communications.Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex material into clear, commercial language.Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.Please note : Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
