Blue Legal has partnered with an international law firm to seek a Senior PR Executive to support their busy communications team in London. The role involves working closely with lawyers and marketing colleagues to develop and implement public relations activities that align with practice group strategies and new business plans.
Responsibilities:
- Build and establish key contacts with members of the press.
- Write press releases, pitches, articles, and other communication materials for media use.
- Manage and maintain editorial calendars of relevant publications and identify opportunities to increase the firm\’s visibility.
- Pitch stories to local, national, legal, and general business and trade press.
- Support lawyers with media interview preparations and develop press response strategies.
- Liaise with external PR agencies, ensuring activities meet firm-wide goals.
- Support PR team admin processes for activity reporting and conflict checking.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree level education, preferably in English, communications, or related fields.
- At least 3-4 years of relevant PR/communications experience, including experience in an in-house PR team at a large law firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
