This role is perfect for a proactive communications professional with a background in PR and media relations within financial or professional services, a strategic mind-set and a hands-on approach to supporting broader marketing efforts.The Responsibilities:Assist in developing and executing PR strategies to enhance brand recognition and visibility.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media briefings, and thought leadership content.Identify opportunities for media engagement, speaking opportunities, and industry-related commentary.Provide support for wider marketing activities, including events, sponsorships, digital content, and campaigns.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging.Track media coverage, evaluate PR performance, and adjust strategies based on results.The Candidate:Demonstrated experience in PR, media relations, or communications within the financial, professional services, or corporate sectors.A well-established network of media contacts and a strong ability to secure press coverage.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Ability to balance strategic PR efforts with practical involvement in general marketing activities.A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong focus on brand positioning.The Recruitment Process – How to get it right!
