A global law firm with a sector-focus is seeking a Senior Executive to join their team based in London. The role-holder will lead the delivery of marketing and business development initiatives to enhance the firm’s insurance group profile, foster profitable client partnerships, and maintain key internal relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key partners to develop the Business Development (BD) strategy and business objectives for the Insurance/Reinsurance group.
  • Work with sector and central marketing teams to develop and implement international BD and marketing campaigns, including budget recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the central marketing team to ensure cross-practice integration for business development, communications, and client development activities.
  • Understand the Insurance sector to identify opportunities, including researching client/target activity and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Draft high-quality pitch, RFP, and capability documents in response to client/target requests to elevate the firm’s position in the Insurance sector.
  • Manage the group’s involvement in the firm’s client development programme, including developing and implementing relevant client accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Communications to implement an effective PR plan positioning the Insurance practice as a thought leader on key topics/themes.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to manage marketing materials for Insurance practice-related BD activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous BD experience in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Experience or understanding of the Insurance sector.
  • Proactive with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and CRM systems like InterAction.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
