A leading US law firm is seeking a Senior Event Executive to join their London office. This role will play a vital part in the strategic planning and execution of events, sponsorships, and projects across the UK and Europe. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for event planning across the UK and Europe, coordinating external events, strategic campaigns, and internal events.
- Lead virtual and live events from inception to completion, collaborating with stakeholders and the wider BD team throughout the planning process.
- Establish goals, responsibilities, project plans, and budgets in advance of each event.
- Work with the creative team to develop cohesive design schemes and visions for events.
- Collaborate with the BD team to identify market trends, client needs, and competitor strategies to inform event opportunities.
- Produce post-event materials, such as attendance reports, budget summaries, and follow-up reports for lawyers.
- Assess sponsorship opportunities, provide recommendations on value, and ensure the firm’s brand is accurately represented at relevant events.
The Candidate:
- Experience leading teams, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker capable of anticipating needs, identifying opportunities, and driving initiatives to completion.
- Educated to degree level.
