Blue Legal are partnering with a leading international law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their London office. You will play a key role in executing the firm’s Clients & Sectors strategy by partnering with Sector Leaders to drive a focused, forward-looking Mining sector strategy that aligns with firm-wide priorities, promotes cross‑selling, and fosters proactive client engagement informed by market trends and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Mining sector strategy in alignment with firm-wide priorities to drive profitable growth.
- Review and manage the sector’s client portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Set and track performance metrics and BD targets to measure the effectiveness of sector initiatives and campaigns.
- Lead business development and client‑targeting activities, collaborating with BDM teams to deliver impactful and market‑aligned go‑to‑market campaigns.
- Support pitching and client engagement efforts, providing strategic input, market insights, and data‑led analysis to strengthen proposals and relationships.
- Monitor market trends and facilitate cross‑sector collaboration, enabling horizon scanning, cross‑selling, and knowledge sharing across the firm.
Candidate
- Proven experience in business development, ideally in a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong industry experience (Mining preferred).
