Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a Senior Business Development Executive on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join their London office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic BD team, working closely with senior BD Managers to support partners and associates across the EPI and Disputes practices. The role will involve collaboration with offices across EMEA, the US, Asia, and Australia, as well as close liaison with the firm's clients & markets team.

The Responsibilities:

  • Support partners and associates with day-to-day pitch, proposal, and client pursuit activity, including preparation of collateral and client-facing materials.
  • Lead on directory and award submissions, thought leadership campaigns, and marketing initiatives to enhance practice profile.
  • Organise events, including industry conferences and firm-hosted client events, supporting engagement strategies across the EPI and Disputes practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, fee earners, and the wider BD team to act as a trusted advisor.
  • Support the delivery of practice-specific business plans in line with firm strategy, monitoring market and client trends to identify opportunities.
  • Manage internal and external information, including credentials, CVs, case studies, and content for the firm's intranet, website, and newsletters.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, ensuring BD activities deliver measurable value to the practice.

The Candidate:

  • Approximately 3–4 years' BD experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, able to influence partners and associates while acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
