Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Pursuits Executive to join their Bristol office. The role offers a really interesting mix of operational pursuits activity and business development skills. Put very simply you will be a key part of the team who focus on improving win probability and success rate across all of our competitive tenders.
The Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for managing tender opportunities, using online portals and coordinating pursuit activities throughout their lifecycle.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as updating tracking documents, arranging meetings, and supporting internal and client communications.
- Use tracking systems to generate meaningful management information (MI), producing reports and PowerPoint updates for senior leadership.
- Identify and address potential hurdles in pursuit activities, offering proactive solutions and developing knowledge of tender environments and scoring systems.
- Provide end-to-end bid project management, especially for public sector tenders, scheduling milestones, managing documentation, and coordinating stakeholders.
- Lead due diligence and prequalification processes, manage clarification questions, and support pitch presentation preparation to ensure strong client delivery.
- Draft, edit, and proofread proposal documents, maintain brand alignment, and create templates using marketing content repositories.
- Promote best practice by streamlining operations, improving processes, and overseeing tools such as opportunity logs and resource planners for greater efficiency.
