A leading professional services firm is seeking a dynamic PR Manager to join their Cardiff office. This role will be responsible for managing and developing the firm’s PR campaigns to enhance the firm’s reputation. Your main responsibilities include building strong relations with media outlets, writing press releases, and monitoring media coverage. This role is ideal for a proactive and creative communications professional with exceptional writing and interpersonal skills.

The Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the firm’s PR/Communications strategy through the creation of press releases and articles targeted at specific media outlets and digital channels.
  • Seeking media coverage opportunities, including arranging interviews, feature stories, and guest articles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant media contacts and ensure the press contacts database is kept up to date.
  • Ensure PR strategies are aligned with overall marketing and communication objectives.
  • Using media monitoring platforms to evaluate the company’s online reputation and PR activities across social media and other digital platforms.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify PR opportunities and collaboration opportunities.

The Candidate:

  • Previous PR experience working in a similar position.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, to craft engaging content.
  • Strong understanding of digital media channels and their role in PR.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism, or a related field.
