Blue Legal has partnered with a global law firm to recruit a PR Manager based in London. The role involves working closely with the Head of Communications to oversee global internal and external communications, including corporate communications, public relations, social media, and internal channels. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the role.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with journalists across legal, trade, and mainstream media to secure coverage.
- Identify media opportunities by monitoring trends and creating targeted pitches for Partners and lawyers.
- Draft press releases and manage media coverage for the firm\’s practices and client matters.
- Develop PR strategies for sector groups in collaboration with M&BD and firm teams, and provide media training as needed.
- Measure and report on PR impact, supporting broader profile-raising initiatives, including legal directory rankings.
Candidate Profile:
- Over five years’ PR experience, preferably in an agency, law firm, or professional services environment.
- Proven track record in developing PR plans that generate consistent media coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing complex projects independently across cultures and time zones.
