Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a PR & Communications Executive to join their London office. The roleholder will report directly into the PR & Communications Manager whilst also working closely with the Director of Marketing and Business Development.

The Responsibilities:

  • Supports proactive PR efforts by generating story ideas, pitching to media, and building relationships with key journalists and editors to connect them with firm partners.
  • Tracks news agendas and editorial calendars, identifies media opportunities (e.g., comment pieces, bylined articles), and conducts research to support strategic messaging.
  • Coordinates media interviews, prepares briefing notes for lawyers, and may attend interviews in place of the PR manager when needed.
  • Drafts and publishes social media content, supports the editing of awards submissions, and helps circulate and showcase media coverage internally.
  • Assists with media monitoring, conflict checks, reporting, and other administrative processes to ensure compliance and organisation within the PR team.
  • Builds strong relationships across internal teams and explores use of generative AI tools to enhance PR workflows and efficiency.

The Candidate:

  • Experience in a PR/Communications role within legal or professional services would be ideal.
  • Excels at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, with strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
