An award-winning specialist IP firm are looking for a Marketing and Business Development Manager to drive marketing and business development initiatives. This role is the perfect fit for a senior executive who is looking to make a step up into management.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the Head of BD and Marketing to deliver the BD strategy, plans and projects.
  • Implement and monitor agreed marketing strategies plans, policies and campaigns.
  • Oversee the firm’s submissions to Legal directories, such as Legal 500, Chambers, MIP, WTR 1000.
  • Lead the preparation and drafting of bid/pitch documents and provide support to the lead fee earners as needed
  • Support and guide the Digital Marketing Exec in the delivery of the firm’s digital marketing including website, social media, google adwords and other digital marketing platforms, considering effective SEO strategies and using analytics to inform the overall strategy.
  • Help support firm-wide BD activities, including trips, client presentations, tracking industry developments and monitoring new client opportunities/leads.
  • Develop PR programmes and act as first point of contact for press enquiries

Qualifications

  • Legal or professional services experience is essential.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or CIM qualification and/or equivalent relevant knowledge/experience
  • Experience working with partners would be ideal.
