Blue Legal are partnering with a leading international law firm who are recruiting for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their London office. The Marketing & BD Executive supports the development and delivery of international business development and marketing initiatives for the Shipping group, ensuring effective coordination, communications, systems use, and client-focused activity across the firm.

The Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and implementing international marketing and business development plans, including activity and budget recommendations.
  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality, client-focused proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, bids, and tenders.
  • Build strong working relationships with specialist in‑house teams and collaborate with the central marketing function to share knowledge and drive best practice.
  • Maintain accurate and effective use of internal systems such as InterAction, Holmanet, Vuture, and Teams.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the Shipping group and the firm’s competitive positioning across its core industry sectors.
  • Deliver marketing materials and activities including brochures, עכשיו research, website content, client briefings, webinars, and conference support.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, including those outside standard working hours and across international offices.
  • Assist with client development programmes, directory and award submissions, and initiatives to promote the shipping sector internally and externally.

The Candidate:

  • Degree‑educated with relevant professional services experience unused strong track record in delivering BD and marketing activities such as events, pitches, directory submissions, and collateral.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work confidently with stakeholders at all levels, network effectively, and influence both internally and externally.
  • Confident IT user with strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word conductivity CRM systems (e.g., InterAction), and familiarity with campaign and web content tools such as Vuture andVault CMS platforms.
