A leading national law firm is seeking a talented and driven Marketing Assistant to join their team in the London office. This role reports into the Marketing and Communications Manager to support in all aspects of marketing and business development activities, manage the growth of the brand and support a wide range of marketing initiatives.

The Responsibilities:

  • Helping to drive business growth by implementing the brand and individual teams' marketing plans.
  • Assisting in delivering campaigns involving advertising, sponsorship, PR, exhibitions and community marketing initiatives.
  • Managing day to day website updates working with agencies.
  • Contributing to projects to improve the content and structure of the website.
  • Producing a bi-monthly staff newsletter, copywriting and collating copy internally, and briefing a design agency.
  • Producing marketing collateral (design and copy) for lawyers, facilities, HR and staff events.
  • Processing invoices, tracking marketing expenditure and reporting on variances versus budget.
  • Providing administration tasks for the legal directory submission process.
  • Organising arrangements for awards dinners and helping to co-ordinate networking events.
  • Assisting in organising hosted relationship events.

The Candidate:

  • Degree educated, with a marketing or similar qualification.
  • 1 years' minimum experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the confidence to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • PC and IT literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Desirable – Creative design skills – Canva or Adobe Photoshop knowledge a bonus.

Please note: Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
