Blue Legal is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Senior Executive, Marketing and Business Development to join its London office. Working as part of the Real Estate Marketing and Business Development team, the successful candidate will support a range of strategic marketing and business development initiatives across key practice groups and sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious BD and marketing professional to take ownership of projects, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to the growth of a highly regarded Real Estate practice.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing and business development plans across key Real Estate practice groups and sectors, identifying opportunities for client development, cross‑selling and profile raising.
  • Develop pitches, proposals, capability statements and presentation materials, while collaborating with global proposal teams on panel appointments, RFPs and other strategic opportunities.
  • Coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns, events, webinars, seminars and client‑facing initiatives, ensuring effective targeting, follow‑up activity and return on investment.
  • Work closely with research and intelligence teams to gather market insights, competitor intelligence and business development opportunities to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of marketing collateral, reports, publications and other client‑facing materials, working alongside creative and communications teams.
  • Support legal directory and award submissions, drafting content and coordinating contributions from key stakeholders to maximise market recognition.
  • Drive client and internal communications activity, supporting CRM initiatives, social media content, matter collection and profile‑raising opportunities across the practice.

Candidate

  • Previous marketing and business development experience within a legal or wider professional services environment.
  • Strong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior professionals.
  • Highly organised, proactive and commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in supporting business growth and client development.
