Blue Legal have partnered with a global law firm to resource a PR Manager, based in London. The role holder would work closely with the Head of Communications and be responsible for overseeing global internal and external communications, covering areas such as corporate communications, public relations, social media, the company intranet, and other internal channels. This is a newly created role, so will be an opportunity to create a real impact at the firm and make the role your own.

The Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with journalists in legal, trade, and mainstream media to secure coverage.
  • Identify media opportunities by monitoring trends and creating targeted pitches for Partners and lawyers.
  • Draft press releases and manage media coverage for HFW's practices and client matters.
  • Develop PR plans for sector Groups with M&BD and firm teams, and provide media training as needed.
  • Measure and report PR impact, and support broader profile-raising efforts, including key legal directory rankings.

The Candidate

  • Over five years' PR experience, ideally in an agency, law firm, or professional services.
  • Proven ability to develop PR plans that drive consistent media coverage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills with sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and effective in managing complex projects independently across cultures and time zones.
