Blue Legal is partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit a Head of Business Performance. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving commercial performance, operational excellence and strategic growth. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will provide strategic insight, influence decision-making and support the delivery of key business objectives.

The Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and deliver business strategies that support sustainable growth and commercial success.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management activities, ensuring clear visibility of business performance.
  • Drive profitability and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, financial performance and business outcomes.
  • Translate strategic objectives into practical operational plans, ensuring effective execution across the business.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide insight-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, working collaboratively with finance, people, marketing and business development teams.
  • Identify commercial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to support business resilience and performance.

The Candidate

  • Significant experience in business performance, commercial leadership, business partnering or a related strategic role.
  • Strong financial and commercial management expertise, including experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering business improvement and change initiatives.
