Blue Legal have partnered with a Top 100 law firm to help them appoint a talented Copywriter to join their busy marketing team. This role is responsible for creating high-quality written content that supports the firm’s marketing and client communications. Working closely with business development and marketing colleagues, you will support campaigns that strengthen client relationships, drive growth and enhance the firm’s external profile across all sectors. Please note this role is based in South London, Wimbledon, and offers 2‑3 days a week hybrid working.
The Responsibilities
- Create, refine and manage high-quality thought leadership content across multiple channels, including insight pieces, client updates, newsletters, case studies and social platforms.
- Research, draft and deliver compelling media announcements that clearly communicate key messages and capture audience interest.
- Partner with legal teams to shape and edit their content, ensuring it aligns with the firm’s tone, style and messaging.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers to plan and deliver a consistent flow of content across all sectors and frameworks.
- Take ownership of the planning and execution of communications-led marketing campaigns.
- Drive proactive media engagement by identifying PR opportunities, drafting content or supporting lawyers with copy, and monitoring coverage.
- Analyse performance data to assess the impact of communications and PR activity, using insights to improve effectiveness and establish best practice.
- Coordinate and deliver award submissions, working closely with legal teams and wider business services.
- Work in partnership with the Internal Communications Manager to deliver firm-wide corporate campaigns.

- Will have experience in a similar communications role within the professional services sector.
- Comfortable working independently, managing priorities with minimal oversight.
- Committed to delivering consistently high standards and attention to detail.
- Collaborative in approach, with the flexibility to contribute across a variety of projects and campaigns.
