A leading international law firm is seeking a Global Marketing & Business Development Operations Manager to join its collaborative, high-performing team. This key role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and enhance operational excellence across a future-focused marketing and business development function, with a particular focus on the successful delivery and management of a new marketing centre of excellence team.

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage marketing centre of excellence team, overseeing day-to-day workflow, mentoring, training, and resource planning.
  • Define and evolve the services offered by the team, embedding clear processes and communications across the MBD team.
  • Implement and refine service request systems and workflows to ensure efficiency and transparency.
  • Oversee marketing technologies and systems (e.g. CRM, email platforms, automation tools), supporting adoption, integration, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and create a marketing operations playbook to enhance consistency and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with BD, communications, digital, design, events, and senior stakeholders to provide agile support across global initiatives.
  • Use available technologies to streamline services and reporting, supporting data-led decision-making across the MBD function.

The Candidate:

  • Significant experience in marketing operations, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical capability, including hands-on experience with CRM systems, CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis, with exposure to reporting and dashboarding tools.
  • Strong project management skills, ideally with a relevant qualification (e.g. CIM, Prince2, Agile).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive scalable process improvements and improve operational efficiency.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging across all levels of the business.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
