Blue Legal is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a Senior Pursuits Manager to join its Marketing team. This role will support strategic opportunities across the full pursuit lifecycle, from early-stage opportunity identification and capture planning through to tender submissions and client presentations. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pursuits professional to play a key role in driving business growth and winning new work.
The Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage strategic tenders and pursuit opportunities across the firm, supporting stakeholders to develop winning strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Support pipeline development and capture management activities, helping to identify, qualify and shape opportunities before they reach formal tender stage.
- Manage pursuit processes from initial planning through to submission, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, proposition development, design and production activities.
- Draft, review and enhance compelling bid and proposal content, ensuring submissions are tailored, compliant and aligned with client requirements.
- Coach partners and presentation teams in preparation for pitches and interviews, helping to deliver impactful and commercially focused presentations.
- Drive continuous improvement across pursuit processes, tools and methodologies, while leading debrief sessions and sharing best practice across the wider business.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience managing bids, pursuits or strategic tender processes within a legal, professional services or consultancy environment.
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
- Commercially minded and highly organised, with experience developing persuasive proposal content and supporting successful business development outcomes.
