Job Description
Blue Legal is working with a leading international law firm to recruit an experienced Client Relationship Manager to support its Financial Institutions client portfolio. This is a high-profile role sitting within a collaborative business development function, partnering closely with senior lawyers and global client teams. This role will play a critical role in supporting the team during a busy period on a 12 month FTC.
The Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify growth opportunities through client insight, market intelligence, and data analysis.
- Support the development and execution of tailored client strategies, ensuring clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Drive proactive business development activity aligned to sector priorities, including cross-selling and new workstream identification.
- Contribute to opportunity planning, sales cycle management, and pursuit activity for high-value mandates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, both independently and alongside senior lawyers.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for client meetings, including presentations, reports, and follow-up actions.
- Manage and support pricing discussions, panel submissions, and fee proposals in collaboration with internal specialists.
- Facilitate structured client feedback and ensure insights are translated into meaningful actions.
- Share relevant client and sector insights internally to improve collaboration and knowledge flow.
The Candidate:
- Strong experience in client relationship management or business development within legal or professional services.
- Exposure to financial institutions client or regulated sectors.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- A data-driven approach to client strategy and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
