Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Client Relationship Manager focussing on Healthcare & Life Sciences to join their London office. You will play a pivotal role in executing the client strategy, collaborating with relationship partners to generate profitable revenue.
The Responsibilities:
- Understand global Healthcare and Life Sciences dynamics and the firm’s offerings to position the firm for growth and present an integrated face to the market.
- Partner with lawyers to conduct white-space analysis and opportunity spotting with priority clients to develop complex, high-margin new business.
- Execute targeted sector-specific BD initiatives and client-centric activities to ensure the firm stays top-of-mind for strategic work.
- Manage a client portfolio, coordinating cross-selling of services across global practice areas and offices, including supporting internal communications.
- Gather, analyse, and leverage market data and external trends to inform BD strategies, support horizon scanning, and manage pipeline, locally and globally.
- Provide timely, high-quality input into win strategies and collaborate on market-leading pitch submissions that create compelling client proposals.
- Develop and manage action-oriented client account plans, focusing on white-space execution and ensuring the team sells the entire firm.
- Facilitate structured client feedback, monitor KPIs, drive operational efficiency, champion Salesforce usage, and ensure accurate client activity records.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in client development within legal or professional services, including identifying strategic opportunities and winning work, especially within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector.
- Strong relationship building skills to develop trust with leaders, teams, and clients, coupled with excellent communication (writing, presentations, and reporting) and high attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of HC and Life Sciences industry trends, account planning methodologies, and cross-selling strategies in professional services.
- Solid understanding of CRM tools and best practices, comfortable using data, analytics, and reporting to drive effective decision-making and client relationship management.
