Blue Legal has partnered with a leading international law firm to search for a Business Development & Marketing Advisor to join their team in London. The role involves supporting the delivery of business development initiatives for the firm’s Energy practice group, including pitching, events, and other marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the BD Manager to implement business development initiatives aligned with sector strategy.
  • Assist with pitch requests, working closely with the Pitch team.
  • Support external profile-raising initiatives for the practice, including campaigns, thought leadership, PR, online presence, and events.
  • Plan and support client targeting activities, enabling lawyers to pursue new business leads and share market insights with clients.
  • Support cross-selling efforts across the firm in collaboration with the wider BDM team.
  • Assist in the delivery of internal communications for the team.
  • Handle sector BD & Marketing requests, including pitches, credentials, capability statements, and marketing collateral.
  • Work with the Pitch team to execute pitches for key CRM clients.
  • Assist in managing key client relationships, including organizing client teams and managing relationship reports.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in BD & Marketing within a legal or professional services firm.
  • Interest or experience in the energy and infrastructure markets.
  • Ability to manage expectations and advise partners confidently.
  • Experience in pitching, developing client documents, and CRM management for key clients.
