Blue Legal are partnering with a leading national audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm with global reach and local expertise, to recruit a Business Development Assistant to join their Oldbury office. The role involves supporting the Clients & Markets team with all administrational activities. The activities may include (but won’t be limited to) coordinating business development tasks, managing client databases, preparing marketing materials, and generating reports.

The Responsibilities:

  • Conduct company research, analyse market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Perform accurate data entry to support business development activities.
  • Create and distribute targeted marketing content to enhance brand visibility.
  • Assist the Clients & Markets Manager with planning and executing events (conferences, webinars, client care events).
  • Liaise with stakeholders (venues, suppliers, clients) to coordinate event logistics.
  • Manage event logistics including venue sourcing, catering, AV, setup, and transport.
  • Assist with event registrations and maintain marketing/guest lists using Excel and CRM systems.
  • Provide on-site event support, including setup, registration management, and post-event reporting.

The Candidate:

  • Strong team player with a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a positive, flexible attitude.
  • Highly organised and confident working independently or in a team under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM system experience is desirable.
  • Prior admin experience preferred; background in professional services is an advantage.
