The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, be able to support the wider business development team on firmwide projects, and get involved in day-to-day activities for the business development team. The role will include working closely with the real estate and public policy practices, collaborating with the events team on the preparation of seminars and client events, and carrying out market and competitor research.The Responsibilities Aid delivery of practice area and marketing plans, ensuring activities are completed on time and within budget.Develop an understanding of each group\’s work and their sub-practice areas.Assist in credentials capture, pitch activities, and producing client/target client research.Conduct research for business development and marketing opportunities, such as conferences.Lead directory and award submissions for practice areas and individuals.Compile newsletters and alerts, collaborating with the events team, and tracking client feedback.Support fee earners in profile-raising initiatives, internal communication, and marketing campaign implementation.Assist with thought leadership content, press releases, website bios, LinkedIn profiles, and document proofreading.The Candidate Some experience at assistant level in professional services is essential.A strong interest or desire to learn about relevant practice areas.Excellent attention to detail and proactive, tenacious attitude.Strong project management and communication skills (both oral and written).
