We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a freelance role on a civil engineering project based in Ipswich. The project involves a combination of groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the on-site team
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with the construction programme
- Update and maintain the 4-week look-ahead programme
- Produce daily site diaries
- Order, schedule, and manage plant and materials
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage construction teams effectively
- 5–10 years’ experience in groundworks and RC works
- Proven ability to run a site in accordance with the programme
- Experience updating project progress and 4-week look-ahead programmes
- Experience ordering plant and materials
- An engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Valid CSCS card, SMSTS & TWC certification
- Valid First Aid certificate
- 5 years address history (lived in UK)
