We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a freelance role on a civil engineering project based in Ipswich. The project involves a combination of groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the on-site team
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with the construction programme
  • Update and maintain the 4-week look-ahead programme
  • Produce daily site diaries
  • Order, schedule, and manage plant and materials

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage construction teams effectively
  • 5–10 years’ experience in groundworks and RC works
  • Proven ability to run a site in accordance with the programme
  • Experience updating project progress and 4-week look-ahead programmes
  • Experience ordering plant and materials
  • An engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Valid CSCS card, SMSTS & TWC certification
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • 5 years address history (lived in UK)
