We are currently recruiting for two experienced Site Engineers/Setting Out Engineers to work on their RC Frame and Groundwork Package in Selby. Successful candidates should be able to start ASAP. The contract will include a mixture of earthworks and reinforced concrete works. The estimated length of the project is 12 weeks.
As a Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Accurate setting out/surveying
- Conducting quality control checks and build records
- Assisting in the supervising of contractors on site
Requirements: To be successful in this Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer role, you need to have:
- CSCS card is required
- Previously worked as a Setting Out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor
- Experience in RC work and Groundwork - minimum 3 years UK experience
- Proficiency with most surveying instruments, familiarity with method statements and risk assessments, and a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork
