Quantity Surveyor in Rickmansworth

Our client is an Industry Award- Winning contractor specialising in Groundworks and RC Frames based in west London. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with significant groundworks experience.

THE ROLE:

• Preparing valuations for interim applications including variations
• Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts
• Adjustments/remeasuring of Bills of Quantities
• Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations
• Preparing valuation and payment certificates
• Monitoring costs and ensuring budget targets are met.
• Monthly costs/value reconciliation.
• Checking material sizes and quantities for procurement

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND TRAINING:

• Minimum 2-3 years QS experience in Groundworks.
• Experience in frames would also be desirable (but not essential).
• Degree qualified in a relevant degree (Eng BSc, MSc, HND or HNC)
• Good time management and high responsibilities and working ability to meet the deadline

The role is predominantly office based with regular visits to sites.

SALARY:

Salary is negotiable based on the experience (on or above market rate)
