We are urgently recruiting a section engineer to work for one of the internationally recognised contractors who specialise in the Aviation sector. They are looking for a Section Engineer to join their Airport project based in West London. This is a permanent position.

Requirements

  • As a Section Engineer, support the senior project team in the overall implementation of the engineering strategy and day-to-day operation of the project.
  • Manage materials, plant and labour within the allocated budget and resources, ensuring their safe, effective and efficient delivery of service on the project.
  • Ensure all systems, design information, procedures and quality systems are effectively communicated.
  • Support the project delivery teams, verifying the work of others, providing technical support.
  • Lead or support assurance on projects through conducting audits and regular meetings with project teams, identifying best practice, areas for improvement and areas of concern, including matters relating to safety, finance or quality.

Essential:

  • Have previous experience as Section/Senior Engineer and a subject matter expert in the discipline of engineering.
  • Must have worked as a Section/Senior Engineer in Civil/Aviation for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Must have experience of ordering materials and installation of duct and drainage works.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • Holding a SMSTS ticket is preferable.
  • Have a degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A Section Engineer should have a desire to continuously pursue innovation and development, with a focus on engineering excellence, the customer and the business.
