We are seeking two experienced Project Engineers to join our team and deliver a multi-disciplinary civil engineering project across our Watford and Hanwell sites. The project involves groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) works and offers the opportunity to work on a high-value, technically challenging development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site works to high standards of safety, quality, and performance in accordance with project procedures and standards.
- Lead “setting to work” briefings with a focus on safe and quality-driven execution.
- Direct and prioritize daily site activities in line with project requirements.
- Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and QA documentation.
- Carry out limited setting out duties as required.
- Supervise site engineers and manage sub-contractors effectively.
- Participate in early design reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance through control, inspection, and test plans.
- Promote a strong culture of safe working practices on site.
- Support the Sub-Agent/Agent with day-to-day operations and reporting.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in groundworks and reinforced concrete.
- Experience managing high-value construction packages.
- Competent in preparing and managing site documentation.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- Valid CSCS card.
- BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or HNC/HND equivalent.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
